S. Clifford Hood Q.C., LLB graduated from Dalhousie Law School after studying engineering and law in 1970. He was admitted to the Nova Scotia Bar in 1971. He began his law practice as a sole practitioner in Shelburne and Yarmouth in 1972. He was granted Queen’s Council designation in 1987 and continues to practice law with an emphasis on fisheries, litigation, policy and corporate commercial transactions. He retains a full-time practicing status and is counsel to the firm.
